Quintessentially English. This is the only way to describe this beautiful, adjoining, thatched holiday cottage. The charm of the outside is again reflected in the well appointed and beautifully presented interior. From the themed en-suite bedrooms to the enclosed private gardens complete with cedar wood hot tub, no corners have been cut to ensure guests have the best of everything during their stay. As well as good looks, the cottage’s convenient location means Minehead town centre is within walking distance whilst the dramatic coast and moorland countryside is all a short drive away. There is a station within walking distance so guests can enjoy the steam trains of the West Somerset railway. There is superb scenery and walking on the South West Coastal Path or inland on the moors, and many places to visit to make a memorable holiday. The Victorian villages of Lynmouth and Lynton, famous for the Watermeet Gorge (NT), Valley of the Rocks and the funicular cliff railway. Looking towards Minehead there is the promenade to enjoy a walk and an ice cream, as well as having a good array of shops and other amenities. A visit to the enchanting, medieval Dunster Castle (NT), with its beautiful terraced gardens, deer park and mill will make for an interesting day out. Porlock and Porlock Weir hold plenty of charm and interest to those who visit the area. Shop and pub 500 yards.
