Park Field House has been recently renovated and now affords every comfort for an enjoyable and relaxing holiday, perfect for family celebrations or get together with friends. Providing bright spacious accommodation this detached house, with unspoilt view over open countryside, is well equipped with excellent facilities including an outdoor heated swimming pool and tennis court in the enclosed lawned garden. Set on the owners farm a stay here will provide the opportunity to enjoy rural life including long walks on numerous footpaths directly outside the house, bird watching and cycling whilst offering the convenience of being just a few minutes walk from the centre of the picturesque village of Topperfield on the Essex/Suffolk border. Within easy reach are numerous nearby attractions including Constable Country, Lavenham, Castle Hedingham with Britain’s finest and best preserved Norman keep,and the market town of Sudbury, home of the artist Gainsborough. A short drive away are the Colne Valley railway and museum and Gosfield Lake which offers 18 hole golf, water skiing, fishing and nature walks. Also within an easy drive are historic Cambridge, Newmarket for a day at the races and Colchester which is Britain’s oldest recorded town with a castle, museum and zoo.
