In a rural location overlooking the Pennines these cosy adjoining barn conversions are situated by a dairy farm on a pet-orientated smallholding. Nearby Armathwaite on the banks of the River Eden offers varied walks and outdoor activities as well as scenic journeys on the famous Settle–Carlisle railway from its station. Set equidistant from historic Carlisle and the market town of Penrith Coombs View Cottages offer easy access to the Northern Lakes and Ullswater the Scottish Borders and Hadrian's Wall as well as the largely undiscovered beautiful Eden Valley. Shop/P.O. and pubs 1½ miles.
