This 200 year old cottage affords tantalising glimpses of the wonderful hills beyond, beckoning the holiday maker to pull on walking boots and pack a picnic! The location is perfect, quietly situated yet within easy (level) walking distance of the wee toon with its many facilities. Gatehouse of Fleet is a little gem, offering a wide range of places to eat and relax and nestled beautifully within a national scenic area with many beaches and castles to explore. It is located on Route 7 of the National Cycle Route, providing an ideal opportunity for a family day out in the fresh air. The Galloway Hills provide seriously challenging walking and are surprisingly devoid of people.
