About a mile from a long sandy beach and the centre of Arthurian legends at Tintagel, this little single-storey stable conversion offers simple holiday accommodation with its own sitting-out area. Within easy reach are many little coves, the ruins of Tintagel Castle and Celtic monastery remains – with two little beaches far below connected by Merlin’s Cave. Lovely walks in nearby wooded St Nectan’s Glen, by a tumbling stream and waterfall, and in Rocky Valley, where a rock bears intricate Bronze Age carvings. Camelford 5 miles. Riding, golf and fishing nearby. Shop/P.O. 1 mile, pubs/restaurant ½ mile.
