Set on the edge of one of Shropshire’s most quintessentially English towns, this well-presented limestone cottage has been furnished to a high standard throughout. Set along a main road, there is easy access to Much Wenlock with its variety of shops and restaurants, as well as St Millburga’s Abbey, holy wells, whipping posts and Olympian artefacts. Most of the buildings are architectural gems from the medieval, Georgian and Victorian eras. Walks from the door lead along the magnificent Wenlock Edge escarpment, and easy drives to Church Stretton (with gliding centre), Cardingmill Valley, Ironbridge, Bridgnorth and Shrewsbury. Shops 500 yards.

    "Lovely welcome by the owner who gave us a detailed tour of the cottage. Also she dealt promptly with a dishwasher problem during the week. The location is on a road by a junction that gets busy at ’going to work’ time (so some traffic noise),"
