Fish Tales Cottage is a newly renovated and refurbished barn conversion in the tiny hamlet of Fingland, which lies on the north Cumbrian coast and near to Hadrians Wall. The owner makes his living by teaching fly fishing and can offer instruction on the local rivers by prior arrangement. The cottage is very well equipped, with 3 en-suite bedrooms, good quality furnishings and beamed ceilings. Fingland is only 7 miles from Carlisle and close to both the Lake District National Park and Scottish Borders. The area is ideal for those seeking peace and quiet, it lies in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, next to a nature reserve with a wide variety of wildlife, birdlife, flora and fauna. Although the cottage has a no pets policy there is a boarding kennels in the village - less than two minutes walk:� Fingland Boarding Kennels and Cattery. Proprietors are Joyce and Alex Baker and their contact no is 016973 51347. This would enable you to board your dog/cat but still see/walk them every day.
