A host of fascinating historic market towns await exploration within this superb location in the gently rolling countryside of boarder lands of England and Wales with Newtown sitting on the banks of the River Severn being the closest at just 5 miles away and offering a good selection of pubs restaurants excellent shopping and is famous for arts and music galleries museums and a theatre for visitors to enjoy. The National trust Powis Castle soaring dramatically above its glorious gardens and the Llanfair and Welshpool steam railway are a short drive. Medieval Shrewsbury birthplace of Darwin and the Ironbridge gorge museum are within easy reach. Golf fishing clay/game shooting and walking can be enjoyed locally. Nearest pub serving food 50 yards.
