In an idyllic rural setting, enjoying open views over the rolling farmland and native woodlands, this traditional stone-built farm building has been beautifully converted by local craftsman. This stunning semi detached property is highly specified and very well furnished with lovely features such as the cathedral ceiling and gallery over the lounge and all rooms are spacious, bright and welcoming. There is a sheltered garden with large patio and outdoor furniture for outdoor living in beautiful surroundings. Alford ( 1 mile) lies at the heart of Upper Donside and has excellent shops and hotels and many attractions including a renowned transport museum, dry ski slope, swimming pool, skate park, golf course and a beautiful country park. There are lovely quiet walks, winter sports at the Lecht Ski Area, a host of golf courses within easy reach and this is the centre of the Aberdeenshire Castle and Whisky trails making this property the ideal base for activities, touring or relaxing. The Granite City of Aberdeen is 25 miles away and has beautiful clean beaches, an international airport and outstanding retail and leisure facilities. Ground floor - 1 double bedroom (king size bed) with en-suite bathroom (shower over bath), large airy lounge/dining room with open fire, patio doors and a second galleried sitting area above, well appointed spacious breakfasting kitchen, utility room, cloakroom / wc. First floor - 1 double bedroom (king size bed) with balcony and en-suite shower room, 1 twin bedroom, (cot and high chair available), family bathroom with shower over bath. Cooking by gas hob/electric oven, oil-fired underfloor heating plus open fire. 2 fridges, freezer, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, 2 televisions with Sky package, 2 DVD and CD players. Bed linen and towels are provided.
